use salon quality shampoo, conditioner & masques, will moisturize extensions & help maintain longevity.
Stay away from protein based products.use a leave-in conditioner from ONLY your mid-shaft to ends, Do not get on your Tape-In’s.
using color depositing products such as purple shampoo voids the warranty and should be done with care to avoid tape tabs.
Avoid styling products that contain oil, alcohol, or ethanol, especially near tape tabs.
heat should not exceed 325°F for human hair extensions and 250°F for vivid & pastel colors. Avoid excessive heat on hair as well.
• avoid heat around tape tabs, when using heat tools to style your hair, make sure to protect your extensions with a thermal styling product from the mid- shaft to the ends.
-
Rinse hair immediately after swimming or exercising.
Spray tans, sunscreens, hard/ well water, and bronzing products may contain minerals that can cause discoloration. In a Spray bottle, mix water with Hydrate Conditioning Masque and use as a leave in conditioner if you will be swimming or around products containing minerals.
This will provide a protective barrier on the hair.

Here are some recommended practices for maintaining your extensions:
Wash your hair twice a week for optimal scalp health.
Use a moisturizing mask once a week to keep your hair hydrated.
Keep your hair tangle-free by brushing it frequently.
brush hair 2-3 times per day gently brush hair from ends to roots using Boar Bristle Brush.
Allowing hair to air dry instead of using heat, can help with the longevity of the hair keeping it healthy.
keep hair in loose braids or loose ponytail at night.
Sleep on a silk pillowcase, to reduce damage and hair breakage.
Apply serums and a clear oil daily to moisturize the ends of your hair. keep these products away from the root area/tape tabs.
Before going into the ocean, coat your extension hair with filtered water and a leave-in conditioner to act as a barrier. Follow up with a clarifying shampoo immediately after. (Note: Avoid dunking your hair in oceans, rivers, lakes, and pools for optimal extension longevity.)
Consider investing in a water filter for your shower head to prevent unwanted minerals from depositing on your hair and extensions.
-
Do not go to bed with wet hair. If necessary, blow dry the base of the extensions to prevent matting.
Avoid pulling, scratching, or disturbing the base of the extensions to prevent damage.
do not use high heat with hot tools; keep temperatures below 300 degrees and ensure blow dryer filters are clean and set to medium heat.
Avoid products containing sulphates, parabens, or high levels of protein.
Be cautious with dry shampoo as excessive use can dry out the extensions.
Do not attempt to remove extensions at home to protect the health of your natural hair.
For Blondes Only:
Avoid overusing purple shampoo on extensions as they can absorb the violet pigment faster than your natural hair, resulting in a violet hue.
Refrain from touching blonde hair with SPF products, as they may cause the hair to turn peach or mauve in color. To prevent this, tie your hair up and out of the way when applying sunscreen, or use mineral sunscreen like 'Bare Republic' that does not discolor extension hair. Remember to wash your hands applying sunscreen.
avoid sunscreens + makeup with avobenzene, avobenzone, oxybenzone, homosalate, oxtinoxate, octocylene, octisalate as it will cause a chemical reaction with your extensions and cause discoloration.
